Initially pleased with the room setup including a queen size bed and mezzanine with two single beds, but soon felt stuffy with no window. The staff were lovely and accommodating, offering great sightseeing tips after some complaints. The location was perfect for exploring Provence with a short drive to charming villages. The dining experience was enjoyable with a good variety of local offerings. Facilities were adequate.

Rooms
7.0
The room, although showing signs of wear and tear, was spacious and unique with a queen size bed and mezzanine level, but the absence of a window made it feel stuffy at times.
Service
9.0
The service was absolutely lovely despite some initial issues, with the young and friendly staff providing helpful tips and amenities for pets.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a tiny, charming village ideal for exploring Provence and nearby villages, though some parts showed signs of outdated renovations.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the dining experience with a good variety of local cheeses, hams, croissants, and fresh fruit, although it would be better if it was included in the price.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities provided were satisfactory, with no outstanding features but meeting basic needs.

My stay at the hotel was mixed. The rooms, while clean and spacious with lovely park views, felt overpriced for what they offered. The service was friendly but lacked effectiveness. The location was beautiful, perfect for exploring Provence, but limited dining options were a drawback. The facilities were satisfactory overall.

7.4/10

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, while not fancy, were larger than most French hotels and quite comfortable with nice furnishings. However, they are supposed to be top-class but felt smaller and less equipped compared to a 2-star hotel we stayed in previously at a lower price. The upcoming refurbishment in November gives hope for improvements.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished, but not as glamorous as expected for the supposed highest class.
Service
8.0
The service was very attentive and staff, though stretched, were friendly, especially towards our pet, providing amenities like a bowl and bed in the room.
Location
8.0
The location was lovely, ideal for exploring Provence and a short drive to the charming village of Uzes. The welcome was warm, but some areas lacked ambiance.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was enjoyable with a good variety, but the breakfast room being in a dingy basement detracted from the experience.
Facilities

The facilities were decent and well-maintained, though there is room for improvement.

This hotel was a great deal on Booking. The room, though not glamorous, was larger than most French hotel rooms and nicely furnished, making it comfortable. However, some refurbishment and repairs are needed. The inclusion of amenities for the dog in the room was a thoughtful touch.

The room was larger than most French hotel rooms and comfortable with nice furnishings. Needs refurbishment and repairs.
Service

The staff went above and beyond, especially considering the large number of guests and our language barrier. They even translated the menu for us.
Location

The location was lovely, ideal for exploring Provence and a short drive to the charming village of Uzes in a tiny but beautiful village.
Dining

The dining experience was mostly pleasant, with a range of tasty options. However, the breakfast room in the basement was a bit dim.
Facilities

The facilities were adequate, but some areas could use a modern touch.

7.0/10

The hotel offers a charming view into the trees and pool from the bedroom, though the old-fashioned shower in the bath arrangement without a curtain may not suit everyone. The cleanliness of the rooms was a bit of a letdown but the lovely views compensated slightly for this.

Rooms
7.0
The views from the room were just lovely, overlooking the trees and pool, although the shower setup was outdated without a curtain. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired.
Service
6.0
The service was fairly stretched due to the number of guests departing and a large wedding party arriving. Some aspects seemed to be at a loss, yet the welcome was overall satisfactory.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally located for exploring Provence, with easy access to the charming village of Uzes. It offers a lovely setting with amenities like a swing set for kids, though the information on the menu could be clearer.
Dining
7.0
The dining atmosphere was very nice, particularly in the treelined park near the swimming pool area. However, the breakfast room's location in the château's basement may not suit everyone's taste.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities, including the small treelined park and swimming pool, were enjoyable, yet improvements in cleanliness would enhance the overall experience.
